Dear St Michael's families,

November is a month of remembrance. It begins with two important feast days: The Feast of All Saints on 1 November and the Feast of the Holy Souls on 2 November. A reminder that our community and parishioners are warmly invited to join for Mass next Monday 2 November at 2pm, where we will gather together to remember and give thanks for the lives of those we have lost, who were close to us, who have shaped our lives forever.

We look forward to seeing those of you who can join us at 2pm in the Church.

Kia ora whānau,

A friendly reminder that Bassett Road remains our preferred drop-off and pick-up location, despite the construction work taking place at school.

Last week, Beatrice Road became very congested, particularly around the church pick-up area. The increased number of children, parents, and vehicles created some safety concerns and made it more difficult for everyone to move through the area safely.

To help keep our tamariki safe and reduce congestion, we ask that families continue to use Bassett Road wherever possible for drop-off and pick-up.

Dear Parents and Whānau,

As part of our upcoming External Catholic Special Character Review, members of our community are warmly invited to meet with the reviewers on Wednesday 21 October from 2.15pm - 2.55pm in the staffroom. 

We currently have five parent participants signed up, and we would really appreciate a few more to help ensure we have a well-rounded representation of our school community.  Please reply to this email to let us know if you are able to attend.

Additionally, the Diocesan Evaluation team wishes to understand the impact our school is having on you and your child/children by completing this brief survey. It is very quick (less than 5 minutes) and can easily be done on your phone! So far there are only 18 responses so we would appreciate a greater voice from our school community.

Dear Parents and Caregiver,

Our full school Athletics day will be held on Friday 20th November 2026 at Dilworth School - Market Road - this is a full school day event.

In order for this event to be successful for our tamariki we require lots of parent support to help run the athletics stations.
